The Lunar New Year is going to be over soon. This means that our only long holidays are ending, and we'll never have another ample amount of rest in our packed schedules. I am dreading my school. Even waiting for the next episode of a nice drama feels like thousands of years to me.

Fact is, I'll never enjoy life in this way of life; in this life where I have no goals nor nothing to look forward to. Worse of all, I wish so hard for events to not arrive, such as tests and exams. "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take, the relationships we were afraid to have and the decisions we waited too long to make." -unknown.

I think I want to hike a mountain, or live in the forest, or maybe pop and disappear like a bubble. To just, be free of time...

Love this recent new drama. For a first, it is mainly due to the story line :) Wasn't at all attracted to the celebrities cause they weren't my bias. But I kind of liked the drama spinning round the cruel truths of the showbiz, just like how it is in the real world. Through these hateful events in life, the innocent protagonist experiences her firsts on betrayal, distrust and hate etc.

However, in the trough of her life, she meets new faces who will save her from all the hurt and agony from her previous encounters. And she meets another cruel character, who in fact will teach her to love herself and others a little more. Sincerely. Throughout the whole show, all the characters are faced with their own problems and has their little secrets. Through their interactions with one another, they will be able to see a new light and face their problems with much more courage and love.

One word, memories. Today, I spent a meaningful lunar new year catching up with my relatives. I realised that I missed every single one of them; my aunts, my uncles, my cousins and the happy times we used to spend together, when we use to gather at my granny's dingy but spacious house everyday for dinner. Now that she's moved her home, and so have all of us, our relationships distanced with it.

Still, some things never change. As my aunt and my cousin looked through the photo albums, I joined them and it seemed like we all returned to the past as we reminisced on our fond memories. My siblings and their innocence remained etched in the hearts of my relatives as I hear fascinating stories of them. My cousins were as child-like as ever and still "the three musketeers", always in action as a trio. They were always there to entertain the grown-ups and leave wide smiles on our faces.

The night life was the best as we indulge ourselves in good food, great movies and a WHOLE LOT of entertainment >.- There was a mahjong session for us kids, a poker table for the adults to gamble away some pocket money while chit-chatting and some 'live sing-and-dance' performances by our CUTE boys >.< Our goodbyes were unwilling and I am looking forward to the next meet up at another house :D

After all these years, I saw him again. Yesterday, at the interchange, while I was with my friends. Today, at the basketball court. He was his old usual self :) As I passed by the court, I noticed his childlike gaze, fixed on the basketball. FACE IT! I am not cut out for studying! Actually, I love learning but I hate them exams. They make me feel sick to the core! Don't see any purpose in them... I think I had lost my imagination. Somewhere by a street, or most probably in school. And I'm certain I lost it while cramping my head with topics for the exam. I don't even see the characters in my head anymore. It's like they disappeared just beside me. I feel lonely again. It feels horrible when you can't see your imaginary friends anymore cause they were so perfect. I miss them. Now all I have are songs to get me through the days.

And the dreams. I've been having these beautiful dreams recently, realistic characters but unrealistic storyline. I can practically feel and hear the things happening. Colourful, vivid, lovely. And that particular smile from that character... It makes me not wanna wake up, ever. :)

I can't really control my thoughts these days. It's as if imagination is a child within me, eager to break free. Apart from my infactuation of that stranger on stage, I am starting to envision scenarios which are far from reality. Even my dreams are becoming more colorful, yet I don't remember them.

Back to the topic on stars, I came up with a new theory. As much as how I prefer dimmer stars, I feel that I should also appreciate those eye-catching satellites. For no matter how I dislike them stealing the limelight, the satellites can be seen throughout my time spent in long car rides. As if it is reminding me that it is always there for me. Unlike stars which may disappear into the clouds, the satellites will shine its brightest for you.

In comparison with people again, the bright star may be an outstanding individual who neglects his audience but somehow, it showers assurance and protection in the perspective of lonely individuals. Another load of crap :)

Saw a moon, one bright satellite, three stars and one dimmest star tonight.
And I thought to myself, it must be him! If we were compared to stars, he would be that dimmest one. While others strut their talents, he silently aids in their performance. Amongst all the charismatic individuals, he stood out when he was supposed to blend in. To me, he's the most captivating and dazzling star and my gaze was locked on him. Just like how I prefer real dimly lit stars which blinks every now and then as compared to bright satellites. It makes me appreciate the star even more when I am able to spot it amongst that vast darkness. I'm intrigued by how different he will be when off stage :)

As mentioned previously, I felt fearless while on the Cylon, my favourite ride. The scenary was brilliant! From the humid clouds, to the cyan lake, to the fairytale castles, and back to the sky. And the 360° rotations only made all this even more memorable! :D

Solace for the disillusioned

I like being away from civillisation, from school, as it makes me more clear-minded and contented. Without the influence of materialistic or work-driven people, I am able to appreciate people and things more easily. Such as looking at a person's flaws as part and parcel of life, rather than brooding over it and growing a dislike towards that person.

Over my four years in elementary school and my first year in poly, I realised that I started to see people with my eyes and not my heart. I critise people mentally whenever I pass through crowds and judge their actions. I became more prone to complaining about things and events.

Now that I'm having my holidays, I will cherish the distance that I am away from all this hateful change. Ironically, the people who are a galaxy different from me, are the ones influencing me in a negative light.

Requiem of Memories

Many times I try to remember the past events in my life but realised how empty my memories were. I fail to remember the contents of subjects, interactions with aquiantances or loved ones and sometimes even my past thoughts or decisions. Only people. I remember only faces and names, which makes it even more heart-wrenching as the stories I had with them seemed like they had been erased out. Hence, I hardly remember the details of the past which arises up in conversations with the people around me; the joy, sadness, disappointment and excitement we have been through together.
Eventually, I came up with a theory for my lacking empathy. Assuming that we all have our own pool of memories in our head, so I supposed that mine is an ocean. And so my memories sinked in deeper than expected, which in turn is harder to retrieve when I try to. :)
Closer to reality, people know it as Amnesia.

A dingy room where i spent most of my childhood with my playmates. =) Three energetic kids were wrestling at a corner of the room on thin mattresses piled onto each other. On 11 march 2011, calamity strikes Japan. The Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami was a 9.0-magnitude megathrust earthquake off the coast of Japan that occurred at 14:46, making it the most powerful known earthquake to hit Japan, and one of the five most powerful earthquakes in the world. The earthquake triggered extremely destructive tsunami waves of up to 10 meters that struck Japan minutes after the quake, in some cases traveling up to 10 km inland. The Japanese National Police Agency has officially confirmed 7,508 deaths, 2,583 injured, and 11,680 people missing across seventeen prefectures, as well as over 100,000 buildings damaged or destroyed. Around 4.4 million households in northeastern Japan were left without electricity and 1.5 million without water.

So, please pray for the citizens of Japan. For those whose loved ones have passed away in the disaster, for those whom are trapped somewhere in the heap of bricks and for those whose restless souls are lingering on the streets.
Even better, help the citizens whom are gathered at shelters by donating generously through reliable organisations. Your helping hand will make a GREAT difference.

I've finally finished the present 50 episodes of the manga and the present ending isn't a 'happily ever after' at all. Instead it ended abruptly with the lovers not being able to be together. For a moment, i felt for the the female lead, Ayuzawa. All that pain and confusion inflicted on her just before the end of manga ep50. My chest grew tight and i buried myself in my blanket as tears welled up in my eyes, too stubborn to flow down. Just like how i felt while reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyers. I'm now telling myself that the manga is not over yet (to make myself feel better?). There should be an episode 51 and so on... =)

Started watching the anime during the march holidays and didnt really fall head over heels with it at first sight. But, the more i await its new episode every week, the more intriguing it gets. Its half reality and half dreamy. Recently, i found a website with all its free manga too, so i was able to read ahead. The storyline is just brilliant, and i cant wait for the anime to catch up. ^^

Stayed up from 01:00 to 09:45 last night while watching the movies THE GODFATHER Ⅰ,Ⅱ and Ⅲ with my parents. Love Al Pacino and Robert De Niro's acting skills of the mafia, and that same music which intimidates you throughout all three movies. It's really not their looks but their damn cool attitude. great enjoyment =D
Oh, and it's not in black and white by the way. >.-

At first, I had no interest in this movie at all, even after all the previews. Then my aunt and cousins called and asked.
Just thought of meeting them.
After that 3 hours, which I totally didn't realised that long has passed, my impression changed. =)
I fell in love with a movie!!

There's just too much reality in our world.
Never will it posses Pandorum's beauty.
We are far from being like an Omaticayan,
We who killed our own Mother Nature.
Far from being the beautiful blue creatures we see on the screen.

Maiden experience up the Singapore flyer with family, grandma and cousin.

MONDAY
Bike riding with aunt and cousins for 7 hours with breaks in btw!! >.<" *pants*
And the worst part was, my cousin's bike spoiled halfway and we had to ride it from Changi Park Connector to East Coast Park.
Luckily we squeezed in a mini van home. =D
Gosh, now my right leg is bigger than my left~
